52 arrested in protest at Mrak Hall last night
You can watch actually decent Aggie TV coverage on Facebook.

Were any UCDLJers witnesses?

Looks like some of those who were arrested last night are still in jail and have not been processed

Seems to read as "Students arrested rightfully, cry and soil selves as a result" :|

The aggie claims they have all been released from custody now.

Why exactly where the students shouting "bullshit" when the arrested students were being escorted out?

Weren't they, like, PLANNING on being arrested, completely lawfully? Calling bullshit on that seems a bit retarded.

Also, the video cuts out right when I want it to keep going :

That about explains the helicopter that day. I'm not quite surprised by this, nor do I find this all that effective. While the message appears powerful, I will admit that no one in Yudof's clique will really care so much.

I do like the ASUCD's reaction though, and the massive police response, to me is hilarious. Really, the UCDPD needed THAT many reinforcements to come in?

What's the tax dollars that went into paying for all of them to come in?

Also, UCLA apparently had people tazered, this doesn't surprise me at all.

While 2 UCDPD cops could have walked everyone out one by one, the probability of a student trying to do something stupid would go up, and then something really bad might happen when the cops try to regain control. When people, and especially mobs, realize the cops can't stop them, they turn Lord of the Flies into reality real quick.
