one of the wiki commenters said it best...

"the above is a very one-sided characterization of a long and complicated series of events in the Middle East."

I know asking Davis yuppy/hippies and college students to stop being so fucking self righteous and retarded is like asking a dog to stop licking its balls, but still...

theres something inherently funny about taking politics to food. one could logiccally argue about food being completly political, but that just makes it a joke i laugh at anyway. it's just too aggressive not to.

"MUNCH MUNCH MY FOOD IS *RIGHT* MY FOOD IS *GOOD* ARRRRRRRRGH EAT EAT EAT"

This is when a group has outlived or grown out of its orignal goal. The food-co-op isn't a place for discussing Middle Eastern politics.

The entire co-op isn't for this, and I wouldn't guess its members joined for this cause either.

An initiative acting on such politics should only be made in the name of a group that isn't affiliated with the Co-Op.

I think the group just really wanted some attention and decided to go with this.
